In 2020, the Local Government Association issued a new Code of Conduct. The 2011 Localism Act requires all Parish Councils to have a Code if Conduct but allows Councils to decide the form and content of the code they adopt.

Fernwood Parish Council adopted the LGA model code in September 2021 and this can be accessed on the Council's website: FERNWOOD PARISH COUNCIL (fernwood-pc.co.uk)
