It is with great sadness that we announce that Councillor Jim Weale passed away last Wednesday, the 11th December. Jim served his community as a councillor on Fernwood Parish Council since it was formed in 2008 and as the vice chair of the council and chair of the council from 2012 until 2015. Jim was committed to his public service and always had the interest of residents at heart. We are truly grateful for the time he gave to our community and Jim will be missed as a member of the council by us and by the residents of Fernwood.

Details of his funeral will be announced by his family in due course.
