Fernwood Parish Council are pleased to share the news that the majority of voters want Newark and Sherwood District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Fernwood to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area. 295 people voted in favour and 48 people voted against.

The next stage is for Newark and Sherwood District Council to formally adopt the referendum version of the Fernwood Neighbourhood Plan at their meeting to be held on 10 October 2017.
