Notice of Election

On Thursday 4th May, there will be elections for local parish and town councils and for Newark and Sherwood District Council.

If you would like to stand for Fernwood Parish Council you can collect a nomination pack from the Parish Council office.

Alternatively these can be obtained from N&SDC. Downloadable nomination packs for the parish and district council elections can be found on the following web page: https://www.newark-sherwooddc.gov.uk/elections4may2023/ (This page also has full details of how to apply for a postal or proxy vote - there are deadlines for these applications so we advise you to organise this now if you won't be able to vote in person on May 4th).

Completed nomination papers must be delivered to the Returning Officer, Castle House, Great North Road, Newark, NG24 1BY, on any day after the date of this notice between 10am and 4pm, but not later than 4pm on Tuesday 4 April 2023.
