Parish and District Council Election Nominations Announced

Newark and Sherwood District Council has announced nominees for the upcoming local elections. Elections will be held on Thursday 4th May and residents of Fernwood registered to vote for these elections can vote at Fernwood Village Hall. The UK Government has introduced a requirement for voters to show photo ID to vote in person at polling stations from these elections. More information can be found on the Electoral Commission's website.

If you do not wish to vote in person, you can apply to vote by post, no photo ID is required. Your application form should be completed and returned to Newark and Sherwood District Council by 5pm on Tuesday 18 April 2023 if it is to be effective for these elections.
