As the result of investigation work carried out by National Highways in to the flooding on the A1 Sliproad, the slip road will need to be closed in order to carry out further work safely. At a minimum 14 days’ notice needs to be provided of the slip road being closed. This will be marked up by signs being erected on the slip road to warn of the upcoming closure so keep an eye out for those which hopefully should be up by early next week starting the 14 day count down. Natioanal Highways will update us with the outcome of the survey and if any additional work will be required.
